Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport - AASTMT
AASTMT, an Arab League higher education institution, had achievements in education, training, and research in several fields due to its methodological application of modern technology.
AASTMT is a prominent partner in so many regional and international funded projects. Among the European funding organizations, AASTMT joined the calls and has been a partner in winning projects for more than 10 years with Erasmus Plus, Prima, Horizon 2020, ENPI and ENI CPC MED. Accordingly, AASTMT’s wealth of expertise, financial capacity, and human resources can provide academic and professional support to this project, aiming to bridge the gap between national and international standards in the north and south of the Mediterranean, for impactful results.
Contribution to PANACEA
AASTMT will play a central role as work package leader in the implementation of Tailored Mediterranean Diet Interventions as part of the regional Mediterranean consortium.
The Academy will contribute to the delivery and coordination of the longitudinal intervention targeting a total of 420 pregnant women and their partners across Spain, Italy, and Egypt, with the objective of improving maternal and transgenerational health outcomes across the Mediterranean region. In addition to its role in supporting other work packages and other Mediterranean Diet interventions.
